Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well regarded, prestigous London trust and they have requested our assistance to help source a suitable candidate for a long term Consultant Histopathology vacancy within the department.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday and the department is looking for a Histopathologist to cover GI. The role will initially be for 3 months however this would be with a view to further extend.

Responsibilities

• To develop and maintain the competencies required to carry out the duties required of the post, which for histopathology clinical staff may include frozen sections.
• To ensure prompt attendance at agreed direct clinical care Programmed Activities.
• To liaise with clinical colleagues and participate in relevant MDTs.

Person specification

• Experience in the NHS/Ireland as a Histopathologist (either as an established Consultant or 6 months within CCT)
• GI experience
• Specialist Registration is desirable but not essential

Rate: £110 an hour
