We are recruiting for a shift supervisor working for a thriving business based in Malton. Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the 3 person shift This role ensures the efficient and safe production of goods by managing a team of operators, maintaining equipment , ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing production processes. The shift supervisor plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and product quality while addressing issues that arise during the shift.

• Troubleshooting and problem solving

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of operating machinery in a production environment

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high pressure situations

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights weekends and holidays as required

Good communication skills and attention to detail

Basic computer skills

Must be physically fit to lift upto 25kg

The role is working 2 weeks of day followed by 2 weeks of nights on a rota

Salary £29,000-£35000 Plus overtime paid at 1.5
