Job Summary:

As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) at Coyle Medical, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients' physical and mental health conditions, using clinical judgment and evidence-based practice to provide appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for patients, addressing their unique needs and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to medication safety protocols.
  • Perform various nursing procedures and treatments, such as wound care, catheterisation, and venepuncture, following established protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team, providing education, emotional support, and facilitating the patient's involvement in their care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and guidelines, promoting patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical nursing practice.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance nursing knowledge and skills.

 

Role Requirements:

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
  • Minimum one-year previous experience as an A&E Nurse, preferably in a similar healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care, utilising evidence-based practice and clinical judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and engage with patients and their families.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing situations.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills:

In addition to the necessary requirements, the following skills are desirable when working for Coyle Medical:

  • Experience in a specific clinical area, such as medical-surgical, acute care, or community nursing.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding healthcare environment.
