We are an agency recruiting on behalf of our client for PTS track men /woman in Carlisle area. Working as PTS labourers in a pway environment.

Job Description

Working with one of our well established clients - Network Rail. They require applicants from PTS workers to join a team with regular weekend work.

Having your own transport to and from the depot is your responsibility.

About the role

Working for a national client you must be prepared to use a shovel and work in a pway environment. Ideally, a white hat although we are accepting applications from blue hats. The work content can vary weekly but is mostly changing sleepers or prep works.

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: Midweek and weekend must be availoable for days and nights

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

• Night / day shift
• Weekend

Requirements

• PTS sentinel card -valid/in-date
• small tools tickets
• Skills/ personal Qualities needed
• Be strong, with plenty of stamina.
• Be energetic and healthy, as the work is physically hard.
• Be good with their hands.
• Cope with working in wet, cold, or very hot weather.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility, as the smooth running of the trains and safety of passengers depends on them.
• Be able to use tools efficiently.
• Cope calmly with emergencies

Salary

Salary: £16.00 midweek and £18.00 weekends

Payment Type is Umbrella
