Summary:

We require an experienced Housing Site Manager for a site in Whitby.  Managing a high spec, high quality finish housing site, now going in to phase 2 of a 50 detached-home development. One quarter of the development has been handed over to date, so it's a live site.

This position requires someone with extensive knowledge as a Site Manager on housing projects who can truly take ownership and have autonomy. Working under a hands-on, experienced Contracts Manager to a detailed and well thought out programme. 

The direct site team consists of an Assistant Site Manager; Telehandler Driver; Finisher / Patcher and a General Labourer. There is also an office-based support team for commercial, technical and accounts.

Your role will include:

• Responsibility of managing the full house build
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team
• Preparing and writing method statements, ITP's and risk assessments
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Planning and programming of the works
• Weekly progress meetings and producing the required timeline of works/action points.
• Management of site teams

Skills & Qualifications:

Must have a valid SMSTS, full first aid, and CSCS.
