Manufacturing Operative /Assistant York £19,760-£20,000
Job Purpose The Additive Weigher Operative is responsible for the accurate set up and weighing of both medicated and non-medicated additive batches for the manufacture of company products. Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with some occasional weekend work.
Job Tasks • Responsible for the preparation and accurate weighing of all additives and medication across site. • Maintain drug stocks, cleanliness and manage control of the drug room, ensuring it is locked and secure at all times. • Working accurately and in a timely manner to strict deadlines in line with the daily production plan. • Cleaning of scales, equipment and booth daily, ensuring that all work areas assigned to you are regularly maintained and kept clean at all times. • Monitor and operate Company machinery in compliance with safe working practices and Health & Safety instructions. • Precise recording of all necessary data and traceability information. • Ensure timely and relevant information is communicated to the production departments, highlighting any constraints or abnormalities. • Use Company procedures & Work instructions to ensure quality products. • Maintain raw material stock levels, rotation and control of goods by expiry date, completing systematic audits. • Must label and control the placement of ingredients to comply with proper storage requirements. • Ensure the correct clothing and appropriate safety devices are worn at all times whilst carrying out your work. . Person Specification • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload. • Strong attention to detail. • Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision. • Clean as you go mentality and hygienic practice. • Have excellent communication skills. • Must be computer literate
