A group of 28 Coyle Personnel and Mayday Healthcare associates have raised a remarkable £15,000 for Action Against Cancer by running the Silverstone Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd March.
Action Against Cancer funds the development of cures for cancer at Imperial College, Hammersmith Hospital, led by world-renowned oncologist, Professor Justin Stebbing. The ground-breaking programmes that the charity funds focus on developing new diagnostics and treatments to improve the survival prospects and quality of life for millions of cancer sufferers worldwide.
Action Against Cancer's Head of Fundraising and Communications, Anthony Hayman said: "We are immensely grateful for the incredible fundraising efforts of Coyle Personnel and Mayday Healthcare who have raised over £15,000 for Action Against Cancer. This is one of the most successful fundraising events in the charity's history. The funds raised will be used to help to develop new, NHS available, cancer-beating drugs.
