Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive the Senior Projects Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and administration of CRASH’s help to the charities that apply.

HOMELESSNESS AND HOSPICE CHARITIES

  • Deal with initial enquiries from charities requesting help and explain our criteria and the application process.
  • Review applications and visit and assess all projects as part of the application process alongside our seconded project advisers and the CEO.
  • Maintain all correspondence and administration relating to applications, accepted projects, materials and grants.
  • Maintain the projects spreadsheet that details progress, values, company involvement etc. Excel is the software used.
  • Prepare information for, and attend, the CRASH Grants Committee which meets 4 times a year.
  • Share information with the CRASH Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure case studies and press releases are written about projects. Companies need to receive the credit they deserve for helping.
  • Send follow up forms when projects reach completion and collect values and statistics of the donated professional expertise and materials. These are a critical part of our performance indicators and impact report.
  • Organise occasional visits to completed projects for the companies who have been involved in helping and for Trustees.

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

  • When the decision has been made that a charity will be helped with their construction project, approach our supporting companies for the specific help that will be needed.
  • Maintain existing relationships with companies that donate professional expertise and materials to CRASH.
  • Develop new relationships with companies to increase the quantity of materials and professional expertise that can be provided.
  • Be the main point of contact between the charities being helped and the supporting companies.
  • Maintain established records that demonstrate the value of the professional expertise and donated materials. The software we use for this is Quick Books.
  • Maintain the existing list of suppliers and professionals and develop the system of how they are nurtured and thanked.
  • Enable regular and clear communication with the Chief Executive and CRASH team.
  • Organise invitations and RSVPs for project openings.
  • Provide thank you certificates and feedback for supporting companies.

  • Salary £50,000 depending on experience
  • Full time office based role in West London. This is not a work from home role.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Coordinating projects across the UK
  • Pension contribution
