Role

To act as operational and administrative support to the Rail HSQE Team and complete regular tasks associated with the rail division’s management of occupational health and safety.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Record details of all accidents and incidents on central log.
  • Track all accidents/incidents for completion of associated tasks and report on any overdue tasks.
  • Create standard briefing documents as directed by HSQE Manager
  • Publish regular and adhoc briefings via company ‘Health and Safety Matters’ website.
  • Distribute additional adhoc briefings by other media (e.g. mailshots, texts, emails)
  • Complete regular and adhoc checks on hours of work exceedences and identify and report on non-conformance.
  • Complete regular and adhoc checks on use of sub-sponsored workers and identify and report on non-conformance.
  • Complete Regular and adhoc checks on Sentinel swipe activity and identify and report on non-conformance.
  • Complete regular checks on quality of data on ADAPT System and verify with Sentinel to identify and report on data errors.
  • Recording and tracking through to closure all non-conformance identified during internal audits, external audits and site inspections.
  • Managing the Initial and Annual Rail Worker health screening process and reporting on any abnormal or actionable findings.
  • Managing the Initial and Annual HAVS screening process and reporting on any abnormal or actionable findings.
  • Collation and recording of all performance data for divisional KPIs.
  • Production of monthly HSQE performance and briefing report.

Qualifications

Strong IT skills base - Microsoft, word, PowerPoint, excel. (Required)

Strong Leadership skills. (Required)
