While the cyclical nature of investment in the UK’s water and waste water infrastructure, through a succession of asset management plans (AMPs), has required a steady flow of specialist staff to the water industry, Coyle Personnel is also delivering experienced water engineering staff to international projects.

Many water and waste water professionals started their careers as civil engineers, perhaps becoming fully chartered members of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), or as specialists in water and environmental management – perhaps as members of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM). In a world where water is becoming an increasingly precious commodity, expertise in hydrology and hydrogeology is also in growing demand – witness the growth in recent years of organizations such as the British Hydrological Society and the International Association of Hydrogeologists.

Coyle can also supply water and waste-water expertise from overseas to fill an extensive variety of temporary and permanent vacancies, from coastal engineers, flood control managers and leakage detection managers, through specialist hydrologists and hydrogeologists and managers of water and wastewater treatment works, up to director-level appointments making long-term decisions about investments in new water resources.
